Classroom Heating Valves

Stop Classrooms from Overheating while others Freeze!

£900 will do the trick for parts & labour

There are many buildings on campus and we aim to reduce the bills all round. Four out of eight classrooms are overheating while the others take a while to warm up. We plan to install thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs), not just any old TRVs, but automated TRVs. These will enable fine tunning of the heating system, allowing radiators in 'up to temperature' classrooms to turn off and therefore push the heat to the areas that need it. This will vastly decrease the overall heating time required and consequently allow the boiler to shut off much earlier.
